Business Development Manager in Medford, OR

JOB DESCRIPTIONParticipates in business outreach and executes company's Business Development Plan; manages existing business expansion and retention efforts, provides community development services to local jurisdictions, promotes industrial land readiness and coordinates business sector consortia as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSBA Degree or equivalent college and/or demonstrated experience in economic or business development field; strong verbal and written skills of communication; active listening and negotiation; professional demeanor; minimum of two years of relevant work experience; effective time management skills; strong skills in computer and Microsoft Office suite; must have personal transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.PERKSPaid health, dental & vision care for the employee (employee can elect to subscribe and pay for dependent healthcare, dental vision care); paid holiday leave; vacation days based on years of service; retirement plan/401K with up to 3% of employee's annual salary contributed to their 401K account; position will include professional training in the field of economic and community development.HOURSFlexible but work hours will be 8-5 M-FDRIVING/INSURANCEA valid driver's license and access/usage of a personal vehicle for required business travel within Jackson and Josephine Counties; for travel outside of Jackson and Josephine Counties employee will be required to use a rental car per Employee Handbook requirements.GROWTH POTENTIALCould lead to advancement to senior level with an available open position.***Our ideal candidate would be everything listed above but if that's not you, and you meet most of our criteria we want to hear from you!
